NBC celebrates 50 years Saturday night live This weekend with a musical special tonight and the SNL50: the anniversary special Live show on … Sunday? That’s right, this Sunday old and current cast members come together for a three -hour live show with celebrities such as Adam Driver, Ayo Edebiri, Bad Bunny, John Mulaney, Martin Short, Paul McCartney and Quinta Brunson. The special will probably celebrate some of the best sketches of the show – “Domingo” part 3, someone? – and bring back iconic characters from earlier cast members such as Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, Molly Shannon and Maya Rudolph. Despite what the name indicates, the 50th annual special is for Saturday night live Will broadcast on … Sunday. SNL50: The Anniversary Celebration Will broadcast Sunday, February 16 at 8 p.m. et, 5 p.m. PT, a nice change for the Night Owl Fanbase of the show that likes to coordinate live.
Prior to the live show there will be one SNL50 Red carpet. NBC coverage of the red carpet is organized by SNL Alum Leslie Jones Sunday today Host Willie Geist and comedian Matt Rogers. The red carpet will also have a live stream SNLs social media, organized by Chicken shop date Maker and host Amelia Dimoldenberg. This week, Saturday night live is aimed at celebrating the 50th birthday of the show. So although there is no new episode this Saturday evening, the eve for the stars littered SNL50: The Anniversary Celebration Airs, NBC will re -broadcast the very first episode of the show.
