Jude Bellingham says that the belief in the Real Madrid camp is growing when they try to get another miracle in the Champions League.
Madrid was overwhelmed by Arsenal in the first stage last week, the Gunners won 3-0 at the Emirates, which means that a special night is required in the Santiago Bernabeu if the defensive European champions have to reach the semi-final.
Bellingham admitted that there was doubt immediately after the first game, but now the team is convinced that they can do the job tomorrow night.

Bellingham – We now have the confidence that we can do it
The English midfielder said at the press conference before the game: “After the game it is complicated, but you can see the confidence that we have now.
“It is contagious and ensures that you have more confidence with the situation in which you are.
“I can’t say it was immediately. When we were on the US [after the game in London] We were not the way we are now, but we believe in ourselves. ‘
Madrid is not a great run, their 1-0 victory at Alaves at the weekend, was their first victory in four games.
We are not always going to do everything well – Bellingham
But Bellingham still thinks they have enough to get through.
“Of course,” he added. “We have had complicated competitions, but we still managed to win. I think there are negative things in the games, we are not always going to do everything right.
“We are still able to do things very well, regardless of the bad times. We have to rely on our possibilities.
“You have to trust that the players will give everything. There have been magical nights in the Bernabéu and we believe that we can do things much better. We have to increase the level of attention and we can be there, of course we can.
“We are not fools, but we rely on the capacities we have. We were not really surprised by Arsenal. They are a very good team and they have a great coach.”
‘Remontada’ is the word most used in Madrid’s dressing room
The word ‘Remontada’ – comeback in Spanish – has been everywhere in the local media, and Bellingham says that it has also been the most used word in the dressing room.
“I must have heard it a million times last week,” he said. “This motivates us a lot. It is a nightly made for Real Madrid.
“In the Bernabeu there is always an incredible atmosphere, the energy is contagious. We don’t ask the fans to do anything they have never done before.
“It’s up to us. We also have to feel their energy and give everything to make them proud.”
