Before even hit the shot, Jupiter teammates Kevin Kisner and Tom Kim connected the club choice of Tiger Woods.

During the singles section of the TGL match on Tuesday evening between Jupiter Links and New York Golf Club, Woods hit his second shot on a Par-4. He asked Kisner and Kim for a Yardage, and they responded 99. Woods literally took it, but he had to add one for it.

“He doesn’t have enough club,” Kisner said just before Woods hit the shot. “What does he do?

“He has a wedge,” Kisner noted, while Woods hit a perfect Wigschot that resulted in a perfect layout.

“What are you doing?” Kim said while he laughed uncontrollably. “It’s 199,” Kisner added.

“You said 99 meters,” Tiger said with a confused look on his face. “You said 99.”

While Woods ran back to his team’s banking area, Kisner and Kim were laughed. They even asked jokes: “Can we have a mulligan?”

ESPN’s Marty Smith then came by and asked Woods: “What the hell has happened?”

“I grabbed my 56 and I hit it 100 meters,” Tiger replied.

The misunderstanding was a microcosm of the night for Jupiter on the left, which lost 10-3 to the New York Golf Club. But the moment was also the highlight of the competition.

“That was one of the most embarrassing things to happen,” Woods said after the game. “I can’t believe that just happened.”
