Jovan Budha van Athletics Reported that Los Angeles PF Rui has Hachimura in a minute limitation. They want him to be at full power later this month before the start of the play -offs.

Rui Hachimura is in his third season with the Los Angeles Lakers. They exchanged for him on the Deadline of 2022-23 of the Wizards. He was the ninth general choice in the NBA design of 2019 from Gonzaga. Hachimura played four seasons with Washington before trading him to Los Angeles. As a member of the Lakers, Hachimura played in 156 games and has 101 starts.
In 2024-25 average Hachimura average (12.9) points, (5.0) rebounds and (1.4) assists per game. He fired (.412) percent from outside the bow (4.1) three-Pointers per match. At the end of February, the 27-year-old missed 12 consecutive games with a knee injury. He missed a month and played in five of the last six games of the Lakers.
The team has Hachimura in a minute restriction. Jovan Budha explained how they want to keep Hachimura on the “Sweet Spot” for his minutes per game. Los Angeles is cautiously playing with Hachimura. They do not want to risk long-term injury and do not have him in the play-offs. Los Angeles wants to cash in the championship window that they have while LeBron James is still in the competition. To do that, they need their schedule to be 100% in about three weeks.
