The daughter of Snoop Dogg, Cori Broadus, cherishes every precious moment of motherhood with her “Wonder” baby.
The new mother went to Instagram this week and gave fans a glimpse into her journey and shared a video of her and fiancé Deuce Polk Bonding with their newborn.
In the clip, the pair of contact with skin-to-skin contact with their baby, a practice that is encouraged for premature babies.
“The love of a mother knows no limits. From the Nicu to endless hugs, every note is a promise, every melody is a hug. #Nicumiracle #momenten thatmatter,” Cori corped the post.
Baby Polk made her arrival earlier this month, three months earlier than planned.
Cori announced her birth for the first time on March 1 and shared a black and white photo of her daughter’s little foot.
She wrote: “The princess arrived after 6 months. I cried and cried, I compared and compared, blamed myself because I couldn’t give her what she needed. But whatever God also shows that he has always received me! Baby girl came today at 25 weeks and she is the best !! Thank you God for getting me so far.”
In a now expressed Instagram storage item, Cori revealed that she had undergone a successful C section after experiencing a frightening health complication. She was diagnosed with Hellp syndrome, a life-threatening pregnancy condition related to pre-eclampsia that influences the blood and liver.
“Doctors told me thanking and if I had waited a few days, it would have been really bad,” she shared. “Ladies, please listen to your body and don’t believe everything you see on Tiktok.”
This is not the first major health challenge that Comi has recently confronted. In January she suffered a stroke, a deep personal experience she shared in the docuseries Snoop Dogg’s paternity: Cori and Wayne’s story.
With the arrival of their daughter, Broadus and Polk added to the growing family of grandchildren of Snoop Dogg. Their little one joins Zion Kalvin Broadus (10), Elleeven Love Broadus (6), Cordoba Journey Broadus (5), Kai Love (who died in 2019 10 days after birth), Sky Love Broadus (4), Chateau Broadus (1) (1).
