Seven issued in Timberwolves-Pistons Brawl
After what looked like a routine error on Naz Reid when he tried a lay-up, things exploded in Minnesota with fans who until now watched one of the greatest fights of the season.
Ron Holland II of Detroit was unhappy with his mistake on Reid that was given and he immediately got up in the face of the Timberwolves star.
Isaiah Stewart and Donte Divincenzo went on all the game and after several bumps and pushes the Minnesota guard finally had enough when Holland started to come in his face after the fault.
What happened after that was quite difficult to see, with almost the entire selection of both teams that had piled at the court in a huge skirmish.
The fight went on for some time and even once the players were separated, both sets of coaching staff started to come in with each other.
After a good waiting time of 10 minutes until the referees to fully digest what had happened in the second quarter, seven players and employees were ejected, including Piston’s head coach JB Bickerstaff.

After the game, Pistons head coach JB Bickerstaff explained why he thought he should be involved in the discussion on the sidelines.
“Things were said by their assistant coach. … We are going to defend each other. I am not going to let people say war -carrying things about my boys.”
Despite losing both best bench players, the Timberwolves were able to fight back from a shortage of 14 points and secure a much needed victory against Detroit.
