Rich Paul is one of the most well -known agents in the basketball world, but he admitted this week that he was just as shocked as someone else through the Luka Doncic Trade on the Lakers.
Proof that nobody saw the Doncian trade coming
If there was anyone who had known of the Luka Doncic trade in the NBA world, this would have been Rich Paul.
The sports agent is one of the most respected people in his field and as a representative of LeBron James it comes as a surprise that even he did not know about the Doncian trade at the Lakers.
Rich Paul spoke this week this week on the podcast of former Pro Gilbert Arenas about the trade and confessed that he had no idea of the Blockbuster trade until Shams Charania broke the news.
“99.9 percent of the time I know what’s going on. One time I didn’t do that, we didn’t do all of that. It was a shock for everyone. That was in it was a shock.
Rich Paul about the Luka-Ad-trade:
“99.9% of the time I will know what’s going on. The only time I was not was the only time we all didn’t do … I’m glad I didn’t know, because it probably wouldn’t happen if you knew it. “

“I always have the affinity in conscience from the perspective of Nico, so the destination was not really a shock. The timing was a shock, and whoever was involved was a shock, but you don’t move mountains without everyone knowing it. You can’t do it.
Since the trade, Mavericks President Nico Harrison has received a lot of hatred from supporters with many Dallas fans, they left away after they had lost the face of their franchise.
Paul was in fact happy that he did not know about the trade as if the agent was aware of the deal, there could have been a chance that it would not have been gone.
“I’m glad I didn’t know. And I am glad who didn’t know yet, because it would probably not have happened. “
However, it was not as if the Mavericks did not get anything from the Doncic deal because they were able to secure a 10-time all-star in Anthony Davis who is certainly not slow.
Rich Paul was quick to defend advertisement on the podcast, with the conviction that the center received unnecessary hatred in the circumstances.
