Match preview for rangers v Fenerbahce
Rangers are in a fantastic position to make progress in the Europa League when Fenerbahce comes to the city on Thursday.
The Scottish side has a 3-1 lead over aggregated, stunning Jose Mourinho and the Turkish side previous time-out.
The person who emerges from this draw as victors will be confronted with Roma or Athletic Bilbao in the quarterfinals.
Rangers had a full week to prepare for this competition after he had the weekend of domestic action, while the men of Mourinho got the same luxury.
The hosts largely played on the counterattack for the trip to Istanbul and can resort to the same tactics in Ibrox.
It was their second victory in three games, because Barry Ferguson was appointed as interim manager, to replace Phillipe Clement.
Mourinho went so far that it described 3-1 losses as a good result for Fenerbahce, given how bad they played.
His side has not been lost from home since December 7, but their record in knockout European ties away from home is less impressive and admits two or more in seven of their last 11 on the road.
🎙️ Barry Ferguson says that his team should light up the fire in the sold-out IBROX MEMENTE tomorrow night, while Rangers offer in a place in the quarterfinals of the UEFA Europa League.

Team news for Rangers against Fenerbahce
Robin Propper was forced for Rangers halfway through the first half of the trip to Turkey last week after collision with goalkeeper Jack Butland and it looks unlikely that he will appear.
Unlike that, Rangers have a strong team available, including James Tavernier, John Souttar and Ridvan Yilmaz.
Fenerbahce has a few more problems.

Fred returns from the suspension for the second stage, while Anderson Talisca and Allan Saint-Maximin insist on a place in the start XI, as well as Dusan Tadic, Youssef En-Nesyri and Edin Dzeko.
