Free Agent Center Mo Bamba has agreed to a 10-day contract with the New Orleans Pelicans, Mark Bartelstein of Priority Sports and Greer Love told ESPN’s Shams Charania on Monday.
New Orleans Pelicans are the fifth NBA team of Mo Bamba
Bamba, 26, was selected by the Orlando Magic in the NBA design of 2018 in the University of Texas in Austin. The resident of New York has played for the magic, Lakers, 76 people and clippers during his seven -year career.
The 7-foot Bamba drew a one-year-old deal with the Los Angeles Clippers for the season and appeared in 28 games (two starts) before he was traded to the Utah Jazz together with PJ Tucker.
Bamba, however, never appeared in a game for Utah and he has been a free agent since the beginning of February.
In 360 career NBA matches in the regular season (101 Starts) he has an average of 6.8 points, 5.4 rebounds, 1.3 blocks and 16.8 minutes per match.
The Veteran Big Man was traded on the Lakers in February 2023, but appeared in just nine games due to an injury.
Bamba signed a minimum salary contract of one year with the Sixers during the low season of 2023 before he came to the clippers with the same deal for the 2024-25 season.
Bamba placed season height points of 13 points, five blocks with clippers
In 28 games (two starts) with the clippers this campaign, Mo Bamba had an average of 4.6 points, 4.3 rebounds, 1.0 blocks and 12.6 minutes per match while he shoots 46.6% and 68% on the free sapline.
Bamba registered seasonal heights of 13 points and five blocks in the 110-93 victory of Los Angeles on the Washington Wizards on January 23. He finished 4-of-6 (66.7%) shooting from the floor and drained three 3-Pointers.
After the jazz had abandoned Bamba, he played three games for the Birmingham Squadron, the G -competition branch of the pelicans, on average 20 points and 13.3 rebounds per game.
Since New Orleans already has an open schedule, the team does not have to refrain from a player to add Mamba.
The pelicans (17-48) have been destroyed by injuries and stay out of the race for a play-off berth. Dejounde Murray (torn judge Achilles -Tees) and Herb Jones (torn Rotatormanchet in the right shoulder) are out for the season.
