Paige Spiranac focuses on rumors that emerged during her first professional golf tournament in 2015 – calling the experience the ‘worst moment of my life’.
Speaking with Mel Reid and Kira Dixon during the 19 March episode of them Please please! Podcast, the 32-year-old, remembered that he played Dubai Ladies Masters in the 2015 and the subsequent rumors that she reportedly had “sexual favors” to get an invitation to the tournament.
At the time, Spiranac was also an influencer on social media, something that said that other female golfers judged her. She told Reid, who is a current LGPA golfer, and Dixon, a golf personality that she was not ready for the media razor.
“I finally became viral and this was back when people didn’t always go viral and I didn’t know how to deal with it and my whole life was turned upside down. I went from 500 followers to 100,000 followers,” she said on the podcast.

She said in the interview that the pressure is probably, which led her to play less than favorable. “It was my first pro event, it was really difficult. I just wanted to like and I played so bad. It was terrible,” she admitted.
Spiranac said she understands why her brand agreements and influencer status may have “disturbed feathers” under the golf community.
“You work your A- out, week in and week out, and here I and I just walk on,” the model said.

This is not the first time that Spiranac has tackled the 2015 Dubai Ladies Masters and how the constant rumors have influenced its mental health.
