Nosfer

The old passion project of director Robert Eggers was an unexpected cash register and it is easy to see why. The pure attention to detail of the historic production design is sufficient to drop your jaw, the sound design ensures that your skin crawls and the designs are memorable.
The look of the director about the classic silent film by FW Murnau (who himself was re -made in 1979 by the legendary filmmaker Werner Herzog) is just as sexy as scary; The shocking nature in which the film jumps from one register to the other is transfixing and hallucinating. It focuses more on the background story of the relationship between Lily-Rose Depp’s Ellen Hutter and Bill Skarsgård’s Graaf Orlok, which becomes a smart way to update and modernize that many are already familiar with.
Despite rumors that the longer cut of Nosfer Can be almost three hours, the extensive edition that is out at 4K Blu-ray/DVD and now has only four minutes of new images on Peacock, so that two scenes that were already included in the theatrical version extend. Eggers said in a recent interview that a recording in marketing that was not in the film is in one of the extensive scenes.

The less you know Companion, The better. That said, look if you are a fan of thrillers, comedies, horror, sophie Thatcher, Jack quaid and being entertained!
The non-spoiler description is simple: a group of friends gather for a weekend away in a remote hut in the forest. The dynamic shifts in about 30 minutes, and the film changes completely into a different genre while maintaining its well -defined sense of humor and the delivery of laughter and surprises to the same extent because it takes its many turns. There is an unexpected Hitchockian sensitivity and a series of smart setups and executions that makes it feel like the filmmakers thought of every little detail. It’s great!

Mufasa: The Lion King

Mufasa is a prequel of De Leeuwenkoning, Specifically the computer-managed version of 2019, but if you have only seen the original animation film from 1994, you will be sufficiently informed. In real prequel form, the film tells the origin story of how Mufasa became the powerful king of the Pride Lands. Viewers also learn how scar gets his scar and how Rifiki gets his walking stick.
The story unfolds while Rifiki remembers the story of grandfather Mufasa of Simba’s daughter Kiara, with the help of comic relief by Timon and Pumbaa, played here by Billy Eichner and Seth Rogen, respectively. The real stars of the film are the songs of Lin-Manuel Miranda, who have a hard time to realize the original soundtrack of Elton John and Tim Rice, but are still catchy and fun in their own way.
If children can pass the creepy strange from looking at photo-realistic computer-animated lions who smile and sing and dance, they certainly have a good time. But if traditional animation is good enough for you, the original film is for you on Disney+!
