Team C, coached by Chris Mullin, beat Team G League, coached by Jeremy Lin, with a final score of 25-14 on Friday evening in the NBA Rising Stars Tournament to continue to the NBA All-Star match of 2025 this Sunday.
Stephon Castle won NBA Rising Stars MVP for Team C
San Antonio Spurs Rookie Stephon Castle received the Rising Stars MVP Trophy after leading team C to the victory with 11 points and three assists, one of which came from Utah Jazz Rookie Keyonte’s game-winning 3-POINTERS.
“To be part of the game-winning bucket in both, this means a lot,” said Castle, who also participates in the Dunk competition on Saturday evening.

When asked which Dunks he has planned for the Dunk match, Castle told ESPN: “I don’t want to spoil anything, but I will only say that the MVP trophy is not the only trophy I try to take home.”
The Rising Stars victory earned Team CA berth in the All-Star match on Sunday, where it is confronted with Shaq’s OGS, with Future Hall of Famers Lebron James, Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant.
“As a basketball player it is really all that I can ask, those guys always watch up, so to share my first all-star weekend with them and to share the court with them, is a blessing,” Castle ESPN said.

The NBA Rising Stars tournament consists of three teams with seven first and second-year players and a fourth team with Seven G Leaguers. The All-Star game is in fact the format of Friday, because four teams of eight players will compete in a mini tournament with all three games that are played on the goal score of 40.
