March Madness 2025 ODDS: Who are the gambling favorites on their way to Sweet 16?

March Madness is known for incredible disturbances and teams that make unlikely runs. The tournament in 2025, however, has been challenging. The biggest upset we have seen is #12 McNees versus #5 Clemson in the round of 64.

Apart from the victory of Mcneese, the favorites generally come to the top. This is the first tournament since 2007 where there is no #12 seed or higher in the Swee 16. On the way to the next round, who are the gambling favorites?

All four #1 seeds have been implemented to the Sweet 16

The lowest opportunities to win the National Championship went to the Sweet 16:

#1 (East) Duke Blue Devils (+225)

Duke was not the general #1 seed in the NCAA tournament 2025. That was given to the Auburn Tigers. Nevertheless, the Blue Devils have dominated their opponents by the first two rounds. There was speculation that Cooper Flagg’s ankle injury would keep him off the field. Fortunately, Flagg is quickly healed and is available for Duke. Due to the first two rounds, Duke scores their opponents, 182-115. They defeated Mount St. Mary’s 93-49 in the round of 64 and then Baylor 89-66 in the round of 32. In the Sweet 16, Duke will be confronted with the Arizona Wildcats. According to the chances via NCAA Sportsbook Betonline, the Blue Devils have the lowest opportunities (+225) to win the national championship.

#1 (West) Florida Gators (+400)

With a 30-4 finish, Florida earned a #1 seed in the West region. The Gators went with 14-4 this season in sec game and won the SEC Conference Tournament versus a heavy Tennessee team. Walter Clayton Jr. This season was named the first team All-American for the Gators. He was linked to Florida in March. In the round of 64, the Gators sought past Norfolk State and won 95-69. Todd Golden and the Gators had Danny Hurley and Uconn in the round of 32. The Huskies did their best but lost 77-75 to Flordia. It was a huge victory for the Gators and they had to make a comeback. Their chances for (+400) are the second lowest that wins Madness wins in 2025 March. Flordia has Mayland in Sweet 16.

#1 (midwest) Houston Cougars (+500)

The Houston Cougars went 30-4 in 2024-25 and won the Big 12 Conference Tournament. Head coach Kelvin Sampson has built one of the top programs in the country. Before the sixth consecutive season, his Cougars improved to Sweet 16. They finished Gonzagas for nine years of stripe of at least the second weekend of March Madness. Offensive, senior guard LJ Cryer leads the team with (15.6) points per match this season. He had 30 points in the 81-76 victory of Houston against Gonzaga on Sunday.
