Leicester City 0-4 Brentford: Crisis deepened for foxes after horror show

Bryan Mbeumo

The miserable season of Leicester City took another turn for the worse tonight, because the men of Ruud van Nistelrooy were humiliated at home by unbridled Brentford.

Foxes fans flowed the King Power Stadium long before half-time from the King Power Stadium after watching an abject defending representation of their side.

Brentford has opened home defense as desired, especially during a one -sided first half with Yoane Wissa, Bryan Mbeumo and Christian Norgaard who all score to kill the game effectively before the break.

Leicester managed to stop the tide in the second period, although there was still time for replacement Fabio Carvalho to add a late fourth, while Brentford left their fourth consecutive road in the Premier League.

The stain denies Leicester twice

There was no sign of the capitulation to come when Leicester came to fly out of the trap and Brentford elkme Mark Flekken tested twice within the first five minutes.

The Dutch Stop Parried Parked a shot from Woyo Coulibaly before an even better save to deny Jamie Vardy after the veteran Leicester Striker was running through the ball to Bilal El Khannouss before he turned Ethan Pinnock inside out.

Brentford responded well and should have been fined after seven minutes when Coulibaly Kevin stumbled in the area. Referee Tony Harrington waved the protests away with Var Bizarre supported his call.

Damage endangered again after 12 minutes, but Coulibaly did well to block his shot in the distant pole.

Wissa opens the score

Brentford started to dominate and it was no surprise when they took the lead after 17 minutes. The ball broke in front of Mikkel Damsgaard on the edge of the area and his scooped Pass chose Wissa, who responded to the Leicester defenders to shoot past Mads Hermansen.

Flekken saved again from Vardy before Brentford scored their second after 27 minutes of Mbeumo, which cut Victor Kristiansen in the weak challenge and shot an excellent left shot in the far corner.

Hans to “You are not suitable for wearing the shirt” of the Leicester fans echoed around the ground and the anger increased shortly after half hour when Norgaard rose to direct Mbeumo’s free kick in the net.

The frustration of Leicester threatened to cook with Coulibaly and the HAPLESSS Caleb Okoli both booked reckless challenges.

And it could have gotten worse for the home team in the first half injury time with Keane Lewis-Potter who saw an attempt excluded for handball after he had bundled the ball in the net after a nice block from Hermansen.

Second half of a non-event with the game won

Van Nistelrooy made two changes during the break, Coulibaly and Bobby collected the Cordova REID, but it made little difference when Brentford drove through the second half without ever coming out of second gear.

However, they still created the strange opportunity, and Hermansen, who, together with Vardy, was the only Leicester player who came up with some credit, produced a brilliant stop to deny Yehor Yarmoliuk after he haunted another seductive mbeumo -cross.

There was little that he could do to prevent Brentford from ending their victory with two minutes to go.

Hermansen saved well from the impressive Mbeumo, but Carvalho was present to shoot in the empty net.

The defeat means that Leicester has now lost their last six Premier League matches at home without scoring a single goal.
