The company has struggled of a weak consumer sentiment that led to a disappointing full annual guidance in February and has given a huge blow to the stock. Kontoor Brands, Inc. (Nasdaq: KTB), however, recently benefited from the acquisition of retailer Helly Hansen, who is strongly present in Vietnam. Cramer commented on the deal:
“Just look at this. Kontoor brands. This morning Goldman puts it on his conviction list. Why? Because of Helly .. Hansen, Goldman Sachs recommends, I know, that’s a good brand.

Cramer discussed the acquisition and income in March:
“I was blown up there, I was wearing them to introduce the HH purchase. And it seemed really great and I was blown up because I had the figures, but they did not talk about the prediction, so I apologized to everyone who watched the report because I did not know that the prediction was always against David.”
