The Warriors will be relieved to see one of their stars ending last season with a return to NBA promotion, as Jonathan Kuminga practiced for the first time since January on Wednesday.

Jonathan Kuminga has not set foot on the field since January 4, when the 22-year-old sprained his ankle who played against the Memphis Grizzlies.
After a long way to recovery, Kuminga finally steps up his rehabilitation process with the guard for the first time since the start of the year is excluded.
The Golden State Warriors went to X on Wednesday evening to announce the news, with a return to NBA promotion that was expected soon.

Last season, Kuminga was an essential part of the Warriors attack, on average 16.1 points, 4.8 assists and 2.2 rebounds in a Breakout season for the rising star.
Despite the start of 46 of the 74 games he played last year for Steve Kerr’s team, Kuminga came out of grace at the beginning of the 2024-25 season and before his injury he started only 10 games of the 32 in which he te Seeing.
Kuminga still had similar minutes than last season, although he came from the bank, and his figures were almost identical before he sprained his ankle to kick off 2025.

With new commercial purchase that Jimmy Butler made to the bay while Kuminga was injured, there is a chance that he will now get fewer minutes on his return to court.
But the Warriors need every player they can get now when we approach the business end of this season, with every chance to be dependent on how healthy the team can preserve in the late season – so Kuminga’s return will be a welcome.
The new look Warriors are in a precarious 10th place in the West with 27 more games to play this year. Last season Steph Curry and Co. End the season in the same place, with an early exit from the play-in tournament after loss for the kings.
Although they are currently in a difficult position, there are only three victories between the Warriors in 10th and the clippers in the sixth, so everything is all to play for.
