“Just think of last year’s trip: we qualified in Salzburg on November 8, while we had to wait this year until January 29 against Monaco. Last year for two months in advance we had only one goal to concentrate. Now there is much more effort, but much more satisfaction.
“As I said in the beginning, we can’t think about the result, just about the show we have given. We don’t have to look at precedents that have not always been positive when Inter Bayern here in San Siro.
“However, the boys are positive and the team knows that we will play against a great opponent. We respect them, but we can have a great game with the right attitude.”
Celebration
Inter was criticized because of the way their parties after the victory at Allianz.

“There are many people who talk about the field, outside the club, and we try not to hear or listen to. That is just how football works.
“We are calm. We are mature, we have the experience we need: we know that we have to win every game, whether it is the Champions League, Serie A or Coppa Italia.
“We don’t have to listen to what is being said outside the field or in the media. We know where we want to go, and to get there, you have to win every day – starting in training and then in competitions.
“We are not bothered by it because we take responsibility for the results we achieve.”
