Thunder vs Timberwolves preview
On Monday, Oklahoma City Thunder will be confronted with the Minnesota Timberwolves for a second night in a row, with the number one seed in the west in the first stage of the back -to -back on Sunday.
OKC turned a shortage of 12 points during the second half of Sunday’s game to take revenge on a loss for Minnesota just before the All-Star break. MVP favorite Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led all scores again in the win, with 37 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists.
Monday’s hosts have no players to add to their injury report with long-term absent Nikola topics and Ajay Mitchell both still out of operation.
The Timberwolves have not won since he returned from the All-Star break, with back-to-back losing against the rockets and Thunder who dropped Minnesota to the seventh in the west.
In the absence of some of their biggest stars on Monday, Jaylen Clark was impressive for the Timberwolves during the first half against OKC, but a relevant injury brought his night short.
Clark remained on the ground for a longer period after he had hit his head and after he finally made his own way to the dressing room, the 23-year-old could not return to the game.
The Timberwolves will pray that Clark can play back in the second back in the second back, because the Rookie was on schedule to include career highs in several categories before he was excluded. Clark is currently not on the Monday injury report.
