Fluminense and Borussia Dortmund played a lively goal in the Metlife Stadium, where both keepers shine in a match that missed goals but no action.
From the opening whistle, Fluminense took the initiative with, in particular, Arias who looked dangerous, open space for cutting the defense of Dortmund early.
Within a few minutes he had already shot over the bar before Bensebaini picked up a yellow card for a reckless challenge, which set the tone for a spicy competition.
Despite the slow start of Dortmund, they gradually grew in the game. Gross and Brandt were neatly linked in the 33rd minute, with Brandt being woven by the Fluminense Backline before they were refused by Fabio.
The flag of the assistant was raised for offside, but it was a promising moment for the Germans.
On the other hand, Fluminen continued to threaten. Martinelli came closest to the Brazilians in the first half with a powerful long -distance effort that was just over the post.

Nonato and Arias both tested Kobel, who was forced in different saves to maintain the score level. A particularly busy piece for the Dortmund keeper came just after half an hour, while he quickly parried the efforts of Martinelli, Nonato and Arias.
The second half resumed with Fluminense on the front foot. Hercules and Canobbio both had efforts on the goal, although their finish left much to be desired.
A collision between Everaldo and Kobel temporarily stopped the game, but the Dortmund stop could continue after the treatment.
As the game progressed, both managers could go to their banks. Dortmund handed a debut to Jobe Bellingham in the 60th minute, to replace Gross, while Nmecha also stood up for Adeyemi.
Fluminense responded with several own changes, including Cano and Serna who entered the fight.
The striking moment of the second half came in the 69th minute when Kobel produced a stunning double salvation, first denied Everaldo and then responded quickly to put Nonato on the rebound.

Dortmund’s best chance arrived late. In the 85th minute, Ryerson hit a beautiful cross that Svensson found, whose header Engs wide Dreef.
Then, in the dying moments of stopping, Niklas Sule almost took a dramatic winner for eg.
His powerful header on rising from a corner, was brilliantly saved by Fabio, keeping the impasse and earning a point.
