Some fans believe that Celtics star Jayson Tatum has been robbed of the MVP Award in Sunday’s All-Star Game.
Has Jayson Tatum been robbed of All-Star Game MVP?
Tatum achieved a combined 21 points over two games in addition to five rebounds, four assists and a block on a 9-11 shooting for the victorious team Shaq OGS and scored the game-winning Dunk in San Francisco.
Despite his efforts, the favorite of the Steph Curry’s birthplace De Kobe Bryant trophy as All-Star Game MVP was given the second time in his career.
Curry finished with 20 points at 7-17 shooting from the floor to go with ten rebounds, two assists and three steals.
12 of the media votes went to Curry, with Tatum and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander who received one each.
Tatum was once mentioned in his career the All-Star Game MVP and achieved the performance in 2023 with a record 55 points that will probably never be broken if the competition stays with the new size.

Tatum is no stranger to snubs in this category that last season lost the MVP final of the Eastern Conference Finals to Jaylen Brown, despite the average of 30.3 points, 10.3 rebounds and 6.3 assists in Boston’s Sweep of the Indiana Pacers.
The 26-year-old was also expressed at the Finals MVP Award, even though he became the sixth player in the competition history to win a championship and their team led in points, rebounds and assists in the play-offs.
According to the best online sports books, the Celtics remain the outright title favorites, so Tatum will have many more opportunities to get individual awards in the future.
The NBA All-Star Break is coming towards the end of this week and Boston will be in action on the road against the Philadelphia 76ers on Thursday.
