European round: Real Madrid, Napoli Record Big Wins in Serie A and Laliga Title Races

There was enough going on throughout Europe on Sunday away from the Premier League promotion.

La Liga Giants Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid were both in action when they wanted to close the gap to Barcelona at the top of the table after their postponement on Saturday.

In Italy, Napoli had to win against Fiorentina to keep their hope to win the Serie A title alive.

In addition, Juventus welcomed Atalanta for an evening conflict in Turin.

Real Madrid moved level at points with La Liga leaders Barcelona after achieving a heavily fought 2-1 victory over Rayo Vallecano in the Bernabeu.

Atletico pressed for an equalizer in the hectic final minutes, but Getafe held on for a huge victory.

Naples 2-1 Fiorentina

Napoli achieved an essential 2-1 victory over Fiorentina to re-arrange their Serie A-title challenge, so that a Winless Run of five games was terminated.
