Darius Garland was equipped for the Cavaliers victory against the Grizzlies on Monday evening, but Kenny Atkinson believes that his All-Star Guard could return as soon as Wednesday.
Darius Garland Injury Update
For the third time this season, Darius Garland was forced to sit out of a Cleveland match with the 25-year-old who rested a left hip continusion.
Garland picked up his injury in a convincing victory over the Knicks on Saturday afternoon and although he hit his face on the floor during the game, it was his hip that caused Garland -needed.

Jarrett Allen also took a knock against New York, but he was able to play against the Grizzlies without finding damage to his hand after a post game from MRI scan.
Despite the absence of Garland on Monday evening, Cleveland continued his win racing for a seventh consecutive game in a scary victory against a resilient Memphis team.
Garland earned an All-Star selection for the first time in his career this season and he continued to fly for the Cavaliers in his best NBA campaign to date.
On average 21.3 points, 6.7 assists and 2.5 rebounds per game from 54 performances this season, Garland is on schedule to play more minutes than ever before in his sixth season in the competition.
Cavaliers who are not concerned with pendulum injury
Speaking after Monday’s victory, Cleveland Cavaliers head coach Kenny Atkinson gave a positive injury update about Garland that is expected to return soon:
“My amateur -is that this is probably one [game without Garland]” Said Atkinson. “It’s not going in the long term. I think I would expect it to be ready very quickly. I’m not going to guarantee the next game, but I would say trending that way. “
The next match of Cavaliers comes as fast as Wednesday evening, with a trip to Orlando to face the magic. It would not make sense to hurry back Garland to action against the magic, with top seeds in the east, but completed with a large collapse at the end of the regular season.
