Chrisean Rock performed her new Christian single, ‘Yahweh’ on Sunday during a church service in Faith City Central. She was accompanied on stage by her son, Chrisean Jesus Porter.
While she held her baby, which she shares with rapper Blauwace, she became visibic emotional.
The moment resonated with her supporters, of whom one noted: “Thank you Jesus !!!! My heart is so full !! Nothing but tears of joy that you view today!”
Prior to the event, Rock invited its followers on Instagram to attend the Maryland service.
“March 30! 10 am DC Maryland, come praise and worship with us at Sunday service. I will perform Yahweh Live for the first time with @timbowmanjr @arissadivyne. Don’t miss this moment! #Praise #worship #yahwehlive,” she shared.
A few days before her performance, Rock lived to Faith City Central’s “Girls Night” in Maryland. She shared moments of the evening on social media and posted a video of herself that held her son, Chrisean Jesus Porter, next to a friend and another baby. Later in the night she played the classic hit ‘Respect’ by Aretha Franklin.
After that performance, Rock thought about her return to the “scene”. “I appreciate love. It is more than a year ago that I have been on stage, excited to rock and get back. I have great people next to me, and there is no stop. My son is great. Jesus is great.”
The return of Chrisean Rock to the stage comes in the midst of public discussions in which Blueface and the other mother of his children, Jaidyn Alexis, are involved. Last week Alexis Rock addressed the unfolding of Blauwface after he shared photos of his children with Jaidyn. Rock clarified that she had no problem posting photos of his ‘beautiful children’, but had decided to leave him alone and to concentrate on her career. She also claimed that Blueface had been unfaithful while he was locked up.
