The Cheltenham Festival from 2025 will start next Tuesday and the expectation is already building prior to the ‘Greatest Show on Turf’.
The meeting is the highlight of the National Hunt Racing calendar with around 250,000 people who are expected to come together in the Gloucestershire course for four days of sports and socialize.

Why is the Cheltenham festival expected for a long time?
It has different degrees I races, including the Gold Cup, Champion Hurdle, Queen Mother Champion Chase and Stayers’ Hurdle.

The list is led by Willie Mullins-Train Galopin des Champs, the winner of the Cheltenham Gold Cup for the past two years and the favorite for this year’s race. The gelding can also have three Irish Gold Cup victories and two Savills Chase Triumphs.
Constitution Hill returns to Cheltenham this year after missing 12 months ago after a bug had swept the stables of Nicky Henderson. He will run in the champion hindrance.

Which trainers are expected to shine at the Cheltenham festival?
Willie Mullins has been the most successful trainer in 11 of the past 14 years and it is very likely that he will claim the crown again. The Irishman celebrated his 100th Cheltenham winner in 2024 and has a total of 103.

What can gamblers expect at the Cheltenham festival?
It is not only the horses that inspire people to get to Cheltenham in their drunken. Gambling is an obvious attraction and it is thought that around £ 750 million is placed with the bookmakers every year.

What is consumed at the Cheltenham Festival?
Given that the meeting coincides with the day of St Patrick and thousands of Irish fans come to England, it is no surprise that Guinness is the drink for many.
