The late goal of Gabriel Pereira in Copenhagen last week took the shine of the night before Chelsea and meant that the draw was still alive. That means that Maresca can become stronger than he wanted with more involved first teamers.
Palmer certainly needs a moral reinforcement after taking his matches without a goal to nine in the weekend after a penalty against Leicester.
Thomas Delaney is doubtful because of a disease while Marcos Lopez is suspended.
