Blue Ivy Carter adds another award to her impressive CV!
At the NAACP Image Awards Pre-Show On Wednesday evening, the 13-year-old took a NAACP image prize home for the best voice-over version in a film for her role as Princess Kiara in the animation film, Mufasa: The Lion King.

Carter Beat Out An Esteemed Group of Nominese Twice Her Age, Including Aaron Pierre (Mufasa: The Lion King), Anika Noni Rose (The Lion King), Ayo Edebiri (Inside Out 2), and Lupita Nyong’o (The Wild Robot).
Blue’s newest performance marks its second NAACP Image Award victory; Her first was for her contributions to “Brown Skin Girl” of 2019’s The Lion King: The Gift.
Blue Ivy, however, was not the only carter who made waves at the NAACP Image Awards Pre-Show.
Her mother, singer Beyoncé, continued her reign as music Royalty with two big wins – outstanding female artist and excellent album for Cowboy Carter.
Vers of her Grammy victory for album of the year, Queen Bey does not show any signs of delay.
Other big winners of the Night were Rising Star and Grammy winner Doechii, who was named excellent new artist, and super bowl-half-time artist Kendrick Lamar, who took an excellent hip hop/rap number home for his hit Not Like Us.
Chris Brown also achieved several victories, including Outstanding Male Artist and Outstanding International Song for HMMM with Davido.
The celebration of Black Excellence continues while the main event of the NAACP Image Awards will be broadcast live on 22 February from the Pasadena Civic Center in California. With some of the biggest names in music, film, television and literature that are honored, it will be an unforgettable evening for an unforgettable evening!
