Lamine Yamal gave a simple but sturdy “no” when asked if he could be lured to Real Madrid instead of signing a new contract in Barcelona.
Yamal’s current contract with Barca ends in 2026, which led to suggestions that he can be tempted to leave his boys’ club and sign it elsewhere.
But it is assumed that the framework of a deal is already present at Barca and it is probably signed when Yamal turns 18 years old on July 13.
However, this did not stop speculation with Barca’s arch -rivals Madrid even mentioned as a potential destination.
Asked for a possible move to the Santiago Bernabeu, the Spain -wing player told El Mundo Deportivo: “Impossible. Madrid? No.”

Yamal – I owe everything to Barca
Barca president Joan Laporta has said that the club has often received various offers for Yamal, but he remains the key to the club’s long-term plans while they are preparing to go back to the renewed Camp Nou.
The teenager said: “It is the only club I have been from La Torreta, the team I started. But yes, I owe everything to Barça. In the end it grew up where I grew up. I was in La Masía since I was 12 years old and from seven play in Barça.
“I think nobody doubts whether I am a cule [Barca fan] And what I want for this club. Since I made my debut, I said it and I think so [the contract] will eventually be resolved. If both parties want to happen, it will happen. But I think nobody can doubt what I feel for this club. ‘
Teen plays comparisons with Lionel Messi
Yamal had to tolerate the comparisons with Lionel Messi after he was understood at last summer’s European championship, where he played a crucial role in Spain who won the title.
