Paris Saint-Germain survived a remarkable comeback attempt by Aston Villa to reach the semi-final of the Champions League, by going to the last four despite losing a pulsating quarter-final second stage 3-2 in Villa Park.

With 3-1 of the first stage in the Parc des Princes, PSG seemed to have a semi-final place halfway through the first half thanks to goals of Achraf Hakimi and Nuno Mendes.

But Villa produced, after retrieving your Tielemans, an exciting second half Display, John McGinn and Ezri Konsa each score within the room of three minutes to put the men of Unai Emery on the eve of a wonderful revival.

Asensio, on loan from PSG, looked destined to mark his replacement appearance with a goal when he erupted one on one, just to see his final shot cannon of the large frame of Donnarumma.

PSG then recovered a certain degree of calmness and Martinez transfers both Dembele and replacement wishes while they tried to finally put the draw in bed.
