Arsenal can reduce the gap behind Liverpool to nine points by beating Fulham at the Emirates tonight.
The Premier League title seems to be out of reach for the men of Mikel Arteta, but they will still want to keep their good shape before a quarter-final band from Champions League against Real Madrid.
The upcoming return of Bukayo Saka hands the Gunners a further boost for the season, with the English star last with a 5-1 win over Crystal Palace in December.
But despite his lack of recent action, Arteta has suggested that he is ready to immediately throw him back in the fold.
“Bukayo is ready to go,” said the Spaniard in his press conference for the competition. “All the careful things he has already done, so now it is about putting him on the grass at the right times.
“He pushes because he really wants it. We have the time frame respect, but we did everything and we even had to stop it, so he is ready to go.
“It is again a huge weapon that we have. We know the impact he has had on the team and how important his role and his contribution to our success is, so great to have him back.”
Fulham also has enough to play for the eighth placed side well in the hunt for a European location this period.
