Liverpool manager Arne Slot says that he wants to “go back” and “do it differently” in the post-match melee, including his resignation after his side had admitted a 98th minute equalizer in a 2-2 draw on Everton on Monday.
In the last Merseyside Derby in the Goodison Park house of Toffees, Slot was clearly astonished to receive a red card from Michael Oliver after approaching the referee on the field and the exchange of a handshake.
“During the stopping time a lot had happened and the emotions got better,” said Slot, after a decisive attack by James Tarkowski, which was awarded after a video assistant assistant review for the outside and a potential error on Reds Defender Ibrahima Konate.
“I would like to have done it differently if I could go back. I hope to do it differently next time. ‘

Arne Slot Red Card: ‘Respect Process’
Slot suggested that he had been unhappy that the amount of added time that was played on the minimum figure was announced by officials.
The situation was exacerbated on Thursday by the Premier League, who accidentally announced that the Dutchman had received a ban of two games for “offensive, offensive or offensive language”.
No decision is expected until the report has been assessed after Oliver’s match, with the options that are open to the football club, including an indictment against Slot, who reminds him of his responsibilities or not take further action.
“That is now a continuous process and we have to respect that,” added to Slot, which is expected to be in the technical area of Liverpool when they organize Wolves in the Premier League on Sunday (2 p.m. GMT). “So I can’t comment on the details.”

Liverpool vs Wolves
Midfielder Curtis Jones will be banned in Anfield after he has been sent for a fight with Everton opposite Abdoulaye Doucoure immediately after the last whistle.
England International Jones was furious with Doucoure, who also received his mars orders, for celebrating Everton’s Point by passing the fans of Liverpool.
Slot said that attacker Cody Gakpo is “a little doubt” after he has been replaced by injury, while defender Joe Gomez and midfielder Tyler Morton are out.
Wideman Trent Alexander-Arnold came through for 30 minutes on his return of an injury and could start as Liverpool a first victory in three games in all competitions.
They start the weekend seven points free from the second place Arsenal, who visit Leicester City on Saturday (12.30 pm).
