The Mavericks fans only got a glimpse of what as the means to have Anthony Davis play for your club, because the big man got into Dallas in the third quarter in Dallas. The superstar, who wants to play more like a Power Forward, will miss at least two weeks more because of his left adductor tribe.
This Thursday, the team announced their first official update since its first diagnosis, which states that the 10-time All-Star “makes good progress” and must be evaluated again within two weeks. Ad was the headliner of the package deal that sent Luka Doncic to Los Angeles.
“Dallas Mavericks says that Anthony Davis (adductor tribe) is progressing well and will be evaluated again in two weeks,” said the Dallas club in their report. The former Purple and Gold Center achieved 26 points (10-18 FG), 16 rebounds, seven assists and three blocks in its only 31 minutes of action for the team.

Davis started missing his first three games as a member of the Texan team because of a belly stem he suffered on January 28, who was four days before both franchises settled on the Blockbuster deal. Now he will miss at least 10 more matches while he is recovering.
The 31-year-old has so far participated in 43 games this campaign, which means that he is inadequate from the 65 game minimum to be eligible for large seasonal debt such as the All-NBA and defensive player of the year.
Unfortunately for the Dallas team, their other two large men are also sidelined for a longer period, in which Daniel Gafford suffers a degree 3 MCL sprain and Dereck Lively II with a stress fracture in his ankle, and both are expected to miss the rest of The regular season.
This is why the Mavericks decided on Thursday to sign seven-footer Moses Brown for a 10-day deal, hoping to tackle their lack of middle depth. The former Lakers superster is currently an average of 25.7 points, 12.0 rebounds, 1.3 steals and 2.2 blocks this year.
