The next hole-in-one on the Player’s Stadium course on TPC Sawgrass during the Players Championship will be the 40th in the history of the tournament.
There were 39 holes-in-one in Player’s Stadium Course on TPC Sawgrass during the players’ championship, all between 1986 and 2024.
Nobody made an ace in the players in the first four years. The first in the tournament history in the stadium course was Jim Gallagher at number 3 or Brad Fabel at number 17. The aces found just a few minutes in succession and the two players were on opposite waves of the morning groups and both played their eighth holes. Tournament officials were unable to determine which player first hit his shot.

What is the breakdown between par-3 holes?
In the history of the players’ championship at the Player’s Stadium Course there have been 14 Azen on the island of Green of 17th Hole, 12 at no. 13, eight at number 8 and five at no. 13.
When do they usually occur?
Expect most aces in the early rounds, which makes sense: 144 players take swings, unlike half of those in the weekend after the cut is made. There have been 10 a aces in the first round, 12 in the second, 10 in the third and seven in the fourth.

Most Azen in one hole in one round are a draw: seven each at number 17 in the first round and at number 13 in the second.
Has a player champion made a hole-in-one?
Not in the year he won. No player has made a hole-in-one and won the players.
Five player champions have made holes-in-one: Fred Paren (no. 17 in 1997, no. 13 in 2006), Phil Mickelson (no. 13, 1995), Justin Leonard (no. 13, 2006), Henrik Stenson (no. 13, 2006) and Sergio Garcia (no. 17, 2017).
Who made the most aces?
Couples is the only player with two holes-in-one in a players in the stadium course.
He has three if you count his famous “Hole-in-Three” in 1999 when he hit his T-shirt in the water, then hit his third shot in the hole in the hole. It is the only par in the history of the tournament after a player in the water or a danger has hit one of the par-3 holes.
What year with the players did the most aces have?
Most Azen in one tournament were four in 2006, all at number 13. There are three in 2000, 2019 and 2023. In the last year all three Azen were number 17.
In chronological order there was a piece in which seven holes-in-one were made at number 13, from Craig Stadler in the second round in 2002 to Robert Garrigus in the second round in 2008.
Players attacked the island of Green
The last five Azen who were made in the tournament were all at number 17, starting with Shane Lowry in the third round in 2022 and continue with Ryan Fox in the first round in 2024.

What is the geographical breakdown?
The first 12 aces in the players were made by American players. The first international player to make one was Joe Ozaki from Japan at number 8 in 2000. When Fox, from South Africa, made his hole-in-one last year, he became the 12th international player with an AAS and the fourth in the last six.
Spain leads the international AAS contingent with three: Miguel Angel Jimenez (no. 17, 2002), Jose Maria Olazabal (no. 13, 2004) and Garcia.
Another ace at number 17
It was not during the players’ championship and it was not on the real island of Green, but Jordan Hakim did a little history with the players of 2015.
Hakim, the moment a student at Florida Gulf Coast University made a hole-in-one at the replica of the 17one Hole that is built in the Stadiondorp, a collection area for fans with food and drink options and one of the large draws of the week, an enclosed model of no. 17 in which a 40 -meter shot is required.

Hakim made a bet with his friends that he would jump into the improvised pond if he got the gap. And yes, he hit it in the hole and jumped into the water.
Tournament officials and security were not amused and he was accompanied by the building. Hakim also did not receive a $ 100 gift voucher that was promised to anyone who made a bait at the Replica hole.
“It was just a boost,” he told the Times-Union. “I was just so pumped that I did it without thinking. I know it wasn’t safe and I’m sorry. “
