7 Charged for Alleged Role in $2M Theft Ring of Athletes' Homes

Seven Chilean nationals have been sued by the US Department of Justice for their alleged roles in a series of burglaries in the houses of high -profile professional athletes.

The FBI has also connected the men with the robberies of prominent NFL athletes, including Kansas City Chiefs Quarterback Patrick Mahomes and Tight End of Travis Kelce, as well as not mentioned players of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Memphis Grizzlies, according to the complaint.

Three of the men have also been sued by a federal large jury in Cincinnati in connection with the burglary of the house of the Bengal Quarterback Joe Burrow.

The FBI had given warnings to sports competitions about the crime organizations last year and said that the houses of athletes were the target because of the perception that they had high -quality items.

If convicted, each suspect is confronted with a maximum of 10 years in the federal prison.
